Characteristics of Carpenter Bees.
- They drill perfectly round 1/2" - 5/8" holes in wood where
they lay eggs and rear young.
- In the Spring around mating time you may see them hovering perfectly still.
Another Carpenter Bee may fly near that one and then those two will appear to
fight or "dive-bomb" one another.
- They look almost exactly like Bumble Bees.
- Like Bumble Bees they go to flowers to pollinate.
Back to Stinging Insects.
Common Fallacies.
Traps. - That catch you - not them.
