Have you seen this type of damage before? The damage on the left is water damage that was opened up by a Woodpecker. The holes to the right were also done by the Woodpecker. Woodpeckers eat bugs, so Woodpeckers could be an indication of bugs, but NOT necessarily. Sometimes they just peck in a search for bugs.
