After spraying the nest and a short wait we begin taking the nest out. Here you see the outer covering scraped away and inside is the Brood Layers. The honeycomb-shaped layers are built from wood scrapings. The individual cells hold the eggs which grow up as hungry larvae. Look carefully in these cells and you can see tiny larvae inside some of the cells.
